general U.S. election thoughts
If your preferred candidate wins, may he be at least half as good for the country as you think he'll be.
If your non-preferred candidate wins, may he turn out to be a lot better for the country than you expected.
In either case, four years from now, may all us USA folks be thinking "yeah, there's plenty of things I want to change about this country, but on balance we're in good shape and I'm proud to be part of it".
